The bottom line
Fair Go's terms are specific, which is good news: you can know the rules before you play. The ones that bite are 30x wagering on the deposit plus the bonus, a $10 bet limit while you clear it, 60x and a $180 cap on free bonuses, and withdrawals capped at $7,500 a week. What the terms don't give you is a named operator or regulator.

Bonus rules, explained
Wagering: 30x the deposit plus the bonus
Before winnings from a deposit bonus can be withdrawn, you have to bet 30 times the combined deposit and bonus. Deposit $50, receive $50, and the requirement is $3,000 in bets (our arithmetic). The words "unless otherwise stated" matter: an individual promotion can set its own multiple, so read each offer's terms in the cashier. Our wagering requirements guide works through every current code.
The $10 maximum bet
While you're playing through a bonus, each bet is capped at $10, and Fair Go warns that higher bets can void promotion winnings. This is the rule most likely to cost you money by accident, because one oversized spin can undo a whole session. On multi-hand video poker or pokies with adjustable lines, treat the total stake per round as the bet, to be safe.
Free bonuses: 60x and the $180 cap
No-deposit offers and other free-money promotions carry a 60x playthrough, double the deposit-bonus rate, and winnings from them are capped at $180 unless the offer says otherwise. A no-deposit run can still pay, but it can't pay more than $180, so treat it as a free look at the lobby.
Who can't take bonuses
Fair Go's terms exclude bonuses for players from Brazil, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and UK and other listed countries. If you live outside Australia, check the full list before you deposit with a code; our welcome bonus review covers the main offer in detail.
Withdrawal rules, explained
- Verification first. Fair Go verifies your account before it processes any withdrawal. Our verification guide explains what's involved.
- Processing time. Fair Go says requests are processed within 2 business days. That's processing, not arrival; the payment method adds its own time.
- Per-transfer limits. $100 to $2,500 per withdrawal, from the banking page.
- Weekly cap. $7,500 per customer per week, from the terms.
- Fees. Bitcoin and eZeeWallet are free; wire transfers cost $50.
Together these rules mean big wins come out in instalments. Our withdrawals review has worked examples for balances up to $30,000.
Account rules: age, identity and who you're dealing with
You must be 18+ to play, and you'll need to prove your identity before you can withdraw. Those are standard. Less standard is what the terms don't say about Fair Go itself. In Fair Go's own words, the site is "licensed and operating since 2017", but its terms, FAQ and footer name no regulator, no licence number and no operating company.
That matters more than it sounds. Terms are an agreement between you and a business, and here that business isn't named. If a dispute ever went beyond Fair Go's support team, you'd have no regulator to turn to and no company name to start from. It's the strongest reason to keep balances modest and keep records of everything. Our safety chapter and the "is Fair Go legit?" guide look at this in depth.
What the terms don't tell you
These details are Not published in the Fair Go pages we track. If any of them matters to you, ask support and get the answer in writing:
- Which games count towards wagering, and at what rate.
- Return-to-player figures for individual pokies.
- VIP tiers, comp point earn rates and exchange rates.
- How long each withdrawal method takes to arrive after processing.
- Whether the weekly cap runs by calendar week or a rolling seven days.
- Whether cashback carries wagering of its own.
How to read the terms before you deposit
- Find the wagering multiple and the bet limit for the offer you're claiming, not just the general terms.
- Check you're eligible, including the country exclusions and the age requirement.
- Look for caps on what a bonus can pay out, especially on free offers.
- Note the withdrawal limits so a big win doesn't come as a surprise.
- Take a dated screenshot of the terms and the promotion page. Terms can be updated, and a screenshot shows what you agreed to.
- Ask about anything unclear before you deposit, in writing. If a disagreement does arise later, our complaints guide sets out the steps.
Terms and conditions FAQ
