The bottom line
Paying in is cheap and flexible. Fair Go lists 14 methods, all free and instant by its description, starting at $5. Getting paid is narrower: 3 withdrawal methods, none of them cards. So choose your deposit method with the exit in mind. Bitcoin and eZeeWallet work in both directions with no Fair Go fee.

The last column is the one most players skip. Only Bitcoin, eZeeWallet and Wire Transfer are listed for withdrawals, so most deposit methods are one-way. Deposit by card or voucher and you'll need one of those routes to cash out, and it will have to pass Fair Go's checks first.
Cards and mobile wallets
Visa and Mastercard and Apple Pay and Google Pay all start at $20. They're the most familiar way to pay and, on a phone, Apple Pay and Google Pay save typing card numbers into a cashier. The limitation is that none of them pays out. Winnings come back by Bitcoin, eZeeWallet and Wire Transfer instead.
Card deposits to an offshore casino can also behave differently from everyday purchases. Some Australian banks decline gambling transactions with offshore merchants, and some treat them as international payments with a fee attached. If a card deposit fails, ask your bank rather than retrying repeatedly. Our guides to Visa and Mastercard and Apple Pay and Google Pay go into detail.
Vouchers and e-wallets: Neosurf, CashtoCode and eZeeWallet
- Neosurf, from $10: a prepaid voucher bought with cash or card from a retailer, then redeemed with its code. It keeps bank details out of the casino entirely. Note that the 100-NEOS bonus needs at least $20, more than the method minimum.
- CashtoCode, from $25: a cash voucher system. Like Neosurf, it's deposit-only.
- eZeeWallet, from $10: an e-wallet, and the only non-crypto method that works in both directions with no Fair Go fee. For players who don't want crypto, it's the natural pairing of deposit and withdrawal.
Vouchers are good for privacy and budgeting, since you can't spend more than the voucher holds. The trade-off comes at cash-out time, when you'll need to set up and verify a withdrawal method from scratch.
Bank transfer: JET
JET Bank Transfer starts at $20. It's handy if you'd rather pay straight from a bank account than use a card. The return journey is different, though: bank payouts go by wire transfer, which Fair Go lists with a $50 fee per withdrawal. See our JET Bank Transfer guide for the deposit side.
Crypto: Bitcoin, Lightning and the altcoins
Crypto has the widest range of minimums on the page: Lightning Bitcoin from $5; Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin from $10; USDT, Bitcoin and Ether from $25. Lightning is Bitcoin's network for small, fast payments, so it suits a low first deposit.
Only Bitcoin is listed for withdrawals. Deposit in any of USDT, Ether, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin and your winnings come back as Bitcoin (or by eZeeWallet or wire), so you take on Bitcoin's price movements between cashing out and selling. Network fees charged by the blockchain or your wallet aren't part of Fair Go's free listing either. Our Bitcoin and Lightning guide and guide to the other coins cover wallets and transfers.
What isn't on the list
PayID and POLi, two of the most common ways Australians pay online, are not listed on Fair Go's banking page. Neither are Skrill or Neteller. One wrinkle: Fair Go's New Zealand page mentions Amex, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and ecoPayz, but the main banking page doesn't, and the two sources conflict. We go by the banking page and the cashier, which is where the methods available to your account actually appear. For the Australian angle on all of this, see paying in and out from Australia.
Choosing a method: four common situations
- "I want the smallest possible first deposit." Lightning Bitcoin from $5, if you already hold it. Otherwise Neosurf or eZeeWallet from $10.
- "I want fee-free withdrawals." Deposit with Bitcoin or eZeeWallet so the same route is set up for cashing out.
- "I only have a card." Fine for deposits from $20, but plan your exit now: open an eZeeWallet, or accept the $50 wire fee on each withdrawal.
- "I'm claiming a bonus." Check the code's own minimum: $20 for the Neosurf bonus, $60 for BUSHMAGIC. The welcome code works with any method; our welcome bonus review has the details.
Whatever you choose, Fair Go verifies accounts before it pays out, so upload your documents early; our verification guide explains what's involved. The other half of the banking story, limits and fees on the way out, is in our withdrawals review.
