The short answer
Fair Go won't process a withdrawal until your account is verified. Send clear copies of your ID, proof of address and proof of payment early, through Fair Go's own site or support only, and keep the confirmation.
Fair Go Casino verification: the rule
Fair Go's FAQ says withdrawals are processed within 2 business days of the request, and that account verification is required first (checked 8 October 2026). Its terms set the minimum age at 18+. Beyond that, the pages in our register don't publish a document list or a review time. Where this guide describes documents, it describes what casinos typically ask for; Fair Go's support team will confirm what your account needs.
Why Fair Go checks who you are
- Age. Proving you're 18+ before money leaves the casino.
- Identity. Making sure the person withdrawing owns the account, so a hijacked login can't be cashed out.
- Payment ownership. Confirming the card, wallet or bank account is yours, which stops stolen cards being run through the pokies.
- One account per person. Welcome bonuses are for new players, and checks stop people opening extra accounts to claim them again.
- Bonus eligibility. Fair Go's terms exclude players in some countries from bonuses, and proof of address shows where you live.
Documents you'll usually be asked for
| Document | Typical examples | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | Passport or driver licence | In date, all four corners visible, name matching your casino account |
| Proof of address | Utility bill, bank statement or rates notice | Recent, and showing the same address as your account |
| Proof of payment | Card front with the middle digits covered, or a wallet account screenshot | In your name; never send the security code from the back of a card |
| A selfie with your ID | A photo of you holding the document | Only if asked; take it in good light |
Fair Go may ask for less than this, or for something else. If a request seems unusual, ask why it's needed and how it will be stored before you send it.
How to get verified before you need it
- Sign up with your legal details. Use your name, date of birth and address exactly as they appear on your ID. A nickname or an old address is the commonest reason a check stalls.
- Ask where documents go. Ask live chat how Fair Go wants them submitted, and use only that route: the casino's own site or its support channel.
- Prepare clean copies. A flat surface, good light, no flash glare, no cropping and no editing.
- Send everything at once. A complete set is quicker to review than documents trickling in.
- Get confirmation in writing. When you're told you're verified, save the chat or the email.
Sending ID safely
Identity documents are valuable to criminals, so treat every request with healthy suspicion:
- Send documents to Fair Go only through its own site or support. No genuine casino asks for ID by social media message, text message or a personal email address.
- Check the address bar before you upload. Phishing pages copy casino designs closely, and a search ad or an unexpected link isn't a safe way in.
- Cover the middle digits of your card number, and never send the security code.
- Delete document photos from shared devices and cloud albums once they're sent.
- Remember the offshore factor. Fair Go names no regulator or operating company, so you can't check which privacy law covers your documents. Send only what's asked for.
Why verification gets held up
- The name, address or date of birth doesn't match the account.
- The ID has expired, or the proof of address is too old.
- Images are blurry, cropped or edited.
- A card or wallet belongs to someone else, a partner included. Only ever pay with methods in your own name.
- You've moved recently and your bills still show the old address.
If a check is taking longer than you expected, ask support what's outstanding rather than resending everything.
Moving house, changing name or adding a card
Your documents have to keep matching your account. If you move, change your name or start paying with a new card or wallet, tell support before your next withdrawal and ask whether they need updated documents. Sorting it out while nothing is pending is far less stressful than discovering a mismatch when a payout is waiting.
After you're verified
For most players verification is a one-off, though you may be asked to prove a new payment method if you add one. After that, withdrawals go straight to the processing window: within 2 business days by Fair Go's account, $100 to $2,500 at a time, up to $7,500 a week. Our withdrawal time guide covers what happens next, the withdrawals chapter of our review compares the payout methods, and the eZeeWallet guide explains one of the two fee-free routes.
Verification also matters if something goes wrong later: a verified account with clean records is the strongest position to argue from, as our complaints guide explains. When you're ready, create your Fair Go account and get the check out of the way.
Fair Go verification: common questions
Do I have to verify my Fair Go account?
Yes, before you can withdraw. Fair Go's FAQ says account verification is required before withdrawals are processed.
How long does Fair Go verification take?
Fair Go doesn't publish a review time. Sending clear, complete documents at once, in your legal name, gives the check its best chance of going through first time.
What documents does Fair Go need?
Fair Go doesn't publish a list in the pages we checked. Casinos typically ask for photo ID, a recent proof of address and proof that the payment method is yours. Ask support to confirm exactly what your account needs.
Can I deposit and play before I'm verified?
Fair Go's published rule ties verification to withdrawals, not deposits. Verifying early simply means you won't be waiting on the check when you want to cash out.
Is it safe to send my ID to Fair Go?
Use only Fair Go's own site or support channel, cover the middle digits of any card and never send a card's security code. Fair Go is offshore and names no operating company, so send only what's requested.
